On my NSX, I removed all of the heatshield around the CAT long time ago because the fixing bolts were heavily corroded and the shields were just making rattling noise.

I already have aftermarket header so can't do direct comparison but didn't notice any big changes in boot temperature and also
never had problem like burning something under the car while parked on the grass, field, etc.

I thought about removing it from the front CAT on this NSX as well but the shield itself looked fairly clean so just re-installed using the ordinary bolts and nuts.
They will corrode again over the time and may make rattling noise but for now, it's secured.
As mentioned before, please never use same material stainless bolt and nut on exhaust area where they are exposed to heat, vibration and moisture.

Very good call in replacing the brake master cyl.
It's still leaking as we speak.

Bit of headache cleaning all these rust and bubbled coating.

Man… that was time consuming replacing the FR brake pipe under limited space.

I used the old pipe for juggling to find out the best angle/route but seemed like it was already bent in the past that the new one had slightly different angle…..
After lots of head scratching moments, finally it went in.

Another Koyo Racing Rad….
I want to replace mine as well….
I bought one last year but had to give it up for another owner…..

Gave good blowing and rinsing as I have no idea what could be trapped inside....

Gave good cleaning around the area.
The a/c pipe was slightly scratching against the vertical bracket.
