VTEC Spool valve and the solenoid cleaned and ready for the installation.
One of the most common place for oil seepage.

This NSX has later spec design so P08 filter in use.
Some of the bolts were heavily corroded and nearly seared off so it is a MUST procedure for me to replace all of the bolts.

After carefully creating oil free smooth mating surface, the spool valve and solenoid were installed.

Another common oil seepage area, the oil press sender unit.
Cleaned and installed with new o-ring.
As mentioned before, I always have question mark on the thickness of this o-ring.

Removed the heavy corrosion from the coolant metal pipes but not going to go any further as I don’t want ending up losing too much metal material…..

New thermostat installed, cleaned the thermostat cover as well.

What a dirty IAT sensor.
It was covered in blowby oil as well.

Cleaned and installed with new o-ring.

Replaced all of the coolant hoses on the engine except for the two hoses at the oil cooler…..
Where is my oil cooler package…..

This NSX is AT model so requires extra hoses for the ATF cooler.

Quickly dressed the area but will do the proper procedure once engine has been closed.

1st stage quick dressing of the area.

Time for the 4Hr marathon valve clearance adjustment….
Needs to keep the garage warm…..
