Not much to report while cleaning and inspecting the engine components yet it’s a time consuming task.
Don’t want touching the camera so not many photos and just the end result.








Have to remove all these contaminated oil from the LMA pocket and clean the section before installing the new one.









As reported earlier, this eng came with the 2nd gen LMA from the factory.
Some of the spring tension was lower than others so looks like at some stage, this eng was parked for a long period.











The heart of VTEC, the rocker arm set.
None of them were showing abnormal operation but I always clean all of them before applying fresh oil or assembly lube.
Must use lint free cloth as well.

LMA pocket cleaned in preparation for new style LMA installation.
