Despite the use of so much liquid gasket, it couldn’t create tight seal at the front bank behind the cam pulley.
You can clearly see how the oil leaked there causing all these wet dirty marking behind the cover plate as well as behind the a/c compressor bracket.









Rear bank was wet but not too bad.








I’m afraid I must replace this CRK/CYL sensor.
It can be re-used but who knows how far the potting will melt away until the next Eng Refresh service.




The o-ring under the #1 cam holder was really compressed so good time for replacing it.



Happy with the initial inspection and no further new parts required so now I’m happy to remove the rocker shafts,
rocker arms, VTEC spool valves in order to replace all 12 LMAs.
