Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Eng Refresh + LMA, Brake OH, etc 11

As seen on many NSX, rear valve cover was not placed properly on the TB mid cover.

Although the service history showed that the rear O2 sensor was replaced in the past, the HEX body of the front O2 sensor looked too clean for this mileage/age.
In fact, there was no ‘Dneso’ marking on the sensor body and instead, there was some numbers engraved so definitely it’s not the one from the factory.

Considering the receipt date and the state, I may consider replacing the rear O2 sensor while the eng is out or even both.

The TB back plate at the front bank was really wet with the oil so looks like part of the valve cover gasket was not installed properly or
the mating surface was not clean enough.

The valve cover gaskets were replaced many times in the past so generally clean engine but some area are really dirty..

Normally, I would start washing the eng/gbox immediately but I had to stop here as I started feeling not well.
Hope to be back soon.
