Full of air at the ABS accumulator and it’s still using the blue fluid…..
It’s not DOT approved so quite surprised that you can still get it.
Or, it could be of very old stock….

One solenoid was very leaky.
Activated both the inlet/outlet valves at all 4 solenoids to flush the entire system.
There are several things to be done during this process otherwise, you won’t be able to flush it properly.
Will adjust the fluid level after the test driving session.

Ah…
This meant to be fuel….

I think this is the worst status I have ever seen in UK…

New filter installed.
Please replace fuel filter at least every 3 years regardless of the mileage.

Time for the 1st test driving session.

Activated the ABS pump by locking the wheels 3 times before the tyre warms up. Will adjust the fluid level on my return.

Oil pressure gauge was much higher but inconsistent.
Sometimes nearly 7kg, rest of the time while cruising, it was at 4 – 6kg.

Good temperature control of the A/C CCU but then kept the setting at 32degC all the time to
push out any tiny bubbles trapped at the heater core.

Kick down activated. Felt better than the first test driving session.

Knock back effect of the new brake piston seal.
Firm pedal feeling but requires bit extra before catching the initial bite.
It will settle after several 100miles.

Checked that the cruise control can maintain about 70mph.

Considering the future temperature drop, set the tyre pressure at OEM 2.8/2.3 kg.
Bit too high for my taste for BS tyres but still managed.

General check up fine so cool down lap and back on the lift.
Re-torqued the wheel nut.

Adjusted the ABS fluid level.

As reported earlier, I already pumped out 1.0L of ATF and still, it may not be easy to see in this photo but
it's still well above the max line when checked after test driven it for 30min and
70sec after stopping the engine.

When I got back from the test driving session and placed the car back on the lift, I noticed wet marking at the front under
the radiator.
I knew what I have done.

Although I was very careful, the washer fluid was too close to the neck.
There is tiny hole on the tank cap and when it’s warmed up, the washer fluid can escape from the tiny hole.
The worst thing is that the washer fluid is blue so it looks as if the Honda Type 2 coolant leaked from somewhere.

Will rinse the radiator section later.

Washed the car, rinsed off the radiator section again as well as the upper side of the gbox,
took out another 400cc of ATF and another quick test driving session.

Finally, I’m happy with the fluid level…..

Again, checked it after the test driving session and 70sec after stopping the engine.

The owner already collected his NSX from my place yesterday.....

Thank you for waiting patiently for all the extra services required and for using my services.
Hope you will enjoy driving your NSX again.

Regards,
Kaz
