1st round of pressure bleeding.
Probably overkill but it’s my standard procedure to carry out the 2nd round later so
will do it the following day as I really want to finish the CCU board service to find out whether
there is any other issues with the air mix control.

I already knew it would be a big challenge but I must admit, I underestimated it….

I haven’t even installed a single capacitor yet but already using 6 x hard wire plus 8 x jumper wire…..

My eyes….

And I’m not joking.

My right eye started bleeding at the white eye area.
Nothing serious but just too much stress causing it and just look awful from outside….

ZD3 back in place and cleaned the area around CN1 as much as possible.
Still, had to use 2 jumpers to strengthen the connection.

So much damages were done around the C44, DM10, 11 and CRM3 but
the components themselves were fine so just need re-establishing the dissolved tracks, pads and joints.

Quick bench check and happy with it so conformal coating time.
At the end, used 6 x hard wire, 11 x jumper wire, removal of ZD3, cleaned the area around CN1 and
later, I had to even disassemble the Display module as some of the switches didn't work......
No doubt, this is one of the worst circuit board that I have ever dealt with.

Still surprised that the CCU was partially working although no temperature control,
intermittent fan speed control and no air from the Heater position.

While waiting, replaced the switches and rings at the audio head unit.
Looks so nice.
Already some scratches were done so not much use with the On/Off sw and Volume ring but will return the old ones.

    Hi, Pride.

Looks like something to do with my camera angle because if you look at my next blog #29, it’s fine.
I just even double checked it on the car as well.
By the way, both shafts were loctited during assembly so they are not loose and if you want, you can adjust the alignment of the Tune button without opening the head unit.
