There was no wet marking at the back of master cyl piston seal but the vacuum seal section was really rusty.

Quite surprised because this NSX is JDM and in Japan, most of the dealers are
still servicing the brake caliper and master cyl regularly despite the
MOT law got relaxed a bit many years ago.

Long time ago, we used to be forced by law to overhaul the brake caliper, master cyl and even the booster every 2 years in Japan.

As I need good sealing against vacuum, cleaned the mating surface to this level and will apply treatment later.

New master cyl waiting for the pushrod clearance check.

Checking the clearance using the SST under vacuum.

In order to save the time and fluid, always best to bench bleed the master cyl before installation.
Otherwise, you are going to spend ages for bleeding the air.

At the factory, they use vacuum fill method.

Will pressure bleed the system in 2 stages and moving on to the electronics service….
Still challenging the CCU……

I hope I can return this NSX on Monday but very tight schedule…..
But, I won't cut the corner short to meet the schedule.
