As always, cleaning the leftover of shot blast medium but on this occasion,
lots and lots of them were left inside the caliper.

I can understand this after Bigg Red tried 3 times coating in yellow and then strip off everything back to
bare metal as they were not happy with the result…..

Although it was oven baked and super thin layer, I was not happy with the un-even thin coating
at the mating surface on the caliper as well as on the carrier bracket.
In the process of stripping off the uneven bits using the ceramic scraper.

Double checking all of the thread to make sure nothing left inside.

There were 100s of tiny blast material left inside the parking brake mechanism.
Quite normal and getting used to it these days…..

Used several different tools and method to clear them out.

Same story for all of the carrier bracket where the slider pins sit.
So many bits left inside that narrow tube that had to use so many things to clear them out…..

Took ages for the preparation but finally, I can start the re-assembly.

Some of the parts and chemical used for the process.
Addition to these, I’ll use other chemical and tool to prevent future corrosion inside the caliper.

As always, double checking the smooth operation of the pistons.
If done properly, you should be able to push in and out with ease.

Thank you to Goodridge for their continued support for the UK NSX community.

The NSXCB spec custom made brake lines assembled and tested by Goodridge themselves.

You won’t be able to get this through the off-the-shelf products sold on-line or through other vendors.
Only available to be delivered to UK address though you can easily arrange re-delivery service to outside of UK
through many courier companies or online services.

Moving on to rear.

More to follow later.
