The bearing at the A/C Idle pulley was rattling and making squeaking noise when spun by hand.
Replaced with new one.
Before draining the eng oil and coolant, I checked the ATF level after test driving session and 70sec after stopping the engine. So far, I had to extract 1L.
Will check the level again once I can start the engine and go through the gears.
Another NSX with over tightened battery clamps.
There was some corrosion inside the positive clamp as well.
Cleaned it for now.
For the GND cable, the nut was simply bottomed out and chewing into the clamp
so the damage was already done.
Going to replace it with a new one.
When this NSX arrived at my place, the ABS fluid level was just at the Max line.
Now it’s above the line so I’m afraid there is a leak from the solenoid(s).
It’s the 2nd gen ABS so better chance of surviving without the solenoid leakage issue but still,
over the years with very little mileage, not much opportunity to exercise the ABS.
Best to flush each solenoid manually by applying 12V in a specific way as some of the procedures on the web are not complete and
can only flush part of the system.
Not much to report while removing all these 25 (AT, non-DBW) coolant hoses and replacing the radiator…..
