Although the owner told me that he had his eng oil and filter changed at the Honda dealer,
I have a question mark over it.

While the eng oil looked to be still clean, the oil filter was in white colour with no logo or marking on it.
The OEM one is blue and it clearly shows Honda logo.
There is alternative one from Honda branded as HAMP but that one is in green so
different from the one on the car at the moment.

The internal oil residue from blowby looked dirty through the oil filler hole so I will replace both this time.

By the way, the drain plug was loose and seeping some eng oil.
I hope it's not cross-threaded.....

The owner told me that all the gasket, seals including the VTEC spool valve ones were replaced in the past……

Hm….

I don’t know whether these are the left over from the previous oil seepage and not cleaned properly or
they are in fact still seeping the oil but I got oil marking on the garage floor……

Very wet almost everywhere around the engine……

I could clean them so that I can check again in the later date but looked to be the mating surface was not cleaned properly.

Also, before the oil pan gasket was replaced, someone should have informed the owner about the serious dent at the oil pan.

Already requested the owner not to apply high G cornering and no track days until this is fixed.

In order to do this properly, the header has to be removed first so not ideal for the owner.......

Both driveshaft inner joints at R & L were repacked and new boot band installed.
However, the boot band is not the one normally included in the NSX boot kit and also couldn’t confirm whether it was installed using the double loop method or not.

They are not leaking again at this stage but already making clicking noise.

Once they start showing changes in the status, please have the entire driveshaft overhauled.
