Been very busy last week/weekend so couldn't update the blog and doing some catch up....






Due to so much rust, had to clear out the oil bolt and bleeder screw threads really well at all four calipers.




The rust managed to penetrate through beyond the dust rubber seating area but not too bad.
I'll apply chemical treatment to prevent the rust from going any further but at the next calliper overhaul,
please send them to Bigg Red for further treatment and have them polymer coated.




The minimum parts and grease for the overhaul.
Addition to these, I use extra parts, special grease, chemicals, etc during the process.





New pistons.
The calliper is the early model spec so 40/36mm combination.
So much better than the state before….






Same story for the oil (banjo) bolt and bleeder screw. So much better now.
