Another good example of never delay the brake service especially on the low annual mileage cars…..

Initially, the owner declined the proposed Brake overhaul service but after test driving this NSX,
I just didn’t feel comfortable with the brake that the service menu was reinstated and
I’m glad we made the right decision.

No matter how good your garage air conditioning system is,
the brake or any hydraulic system on our NSX are not closed/sealed system that
it will eventually absorb the moisture from the air.

With the chemical reaction, brake fluid will convert the moisture into ester bonding boratic acid to prevent it from boiling
at mid temperature and the brake fluid contains multiple chemical including the rust inhibitor.
Over the time, these chemical will decay and eventually, cause corrosion.

If you drive regularly, you have better chance of moving the piston, etc and your brake pad will wear so
you have a chance to inspect the brake system.
Or, you may get squeaking noise as the sign of something not quite right with the brake.

Owners tend to replace the brake fluid at regular interval as well.

On the other hand, with low annual mileage cars,
people seems to extend the service interval simply because the car has not been used regularly…..

FR pistons.
So much rust inside the calliper…

Terrible state of the bleeder plug…

As you can see, for some reason, the smaller 36mm piston was replaced in the past.
But, it's beyond my knowledge on why other parts were not replaced at the same time......

FL side was better but still, no way I can re-use the parts…..
