2 x bolt missing from the TB lower cover just above the WP.






Ah…. That's the wrong parts…. It won't fit on the front cover….




No liquid gasket applied to the edge of gasket where it meets the #1 and #4 cam holders.
Instead, so much liquid gasket was applied at the back side of the rubber gasket inside the channel of the valve cover. If cleaned properly, no need for such huge amount....




Oil already seeped behind the TB area but should be fine as NSX TB has one of the most well protected design.




What a poor engine…. Should have been cleaned properly….
Probably the PCV valve was not cleaned during the last major services…




In order to show the true colour, just cleaned one section as you can see in the centre of this photo.
It should be silver, not charcoal dark brown…




Because the TB front cover was missing several bolts, the cam pulley scratched internal wall of the plastic cover resulting in lots of black powder dust.
This is front bank so even with low TB tension, normally, you won't see the rubber dust from the TB.
At least, the front cam timing is correct.....
