The Front bank IG coils.
Not bad for this year model.

IG coil spring is also fine.

More worried about the red coating at the base. Probably it was installed before the coating has cured.






The Rear bank ones…
As seen on many NSX, lots of rust on the #2cyl one.
Still, not expanding too far but there was bit of misfire like hesitation at idle so interesting to see the condition of the spark plugs.








Well…. The tube of the IG coil was not soaked in eng oil but as expected from the state of the loose valve cover bolts/nuts, almost all of the spark plugs were covered in oil.
There was even some black liquid gasket debris around the threaded section.

There was dark brown marking (not light brown – the corona arching) on the insulator body which suggests the moisture inside there.






The #1 spark plug showed bit more carbon than other cyl so decided to replace all 6 plugs.
The one at the top is the new one.
