Quick brake fluid change using pressure bleeding.

While keeping the system under pressure for leak check, started the final alignment of the tail light assy after installing the new gaskets.
All units apart from the new centre one were already warped so not an easy task and requires delicate touch but came out in fairly good alignment.
Just use spinner handle with finger tight torque and never tighten the nuts using other tools. Otherwise, you will pull out the stud bolts from the light assy.

Another ABS flushing time.
In the past, I knew this ABS had problem so I marked the specific solenoid.
It’s still bit leaky but not too bad.

Will adjust the fluid level after the test driving session.

Went out for quick check driving to confirm the state of the FL wheel speed sensor and ABS.
Considering the state of the Front brake pad, no test driving session can be carried out so just like 10min crawling speed around the corner.

At least, no ABS/TCS warning light so happy with it.

I noticed that on very rare occasion, when turning the IG key into P2 (lots of lights on the dash) before cranking the engine, the ‘BRAKE LAMP’ warning stayed on even before touching the brake pedal for the first time and also the parking light indicator stayed on even after releasing the parking brake.

Normally, I would say it’s the first sign of leaky caps inside the dash module but it’s triggering the parking brake indicator as well, I think it’s more to do with the 22pin grey connector behind the boot carpet.
I think I found the reason why the owner used to trigger ABS&TCS lights with code #2.

Another reason why you should replace the gasket at the taillight assy whenever they were removed.

Will take a look later.

I can’t do anything any further with this NSX without the delivery of the front brake disc so for now, I’ll close the service.

Will come back to it once I have the brake disc.

By the way, this spare tyre is just a heavy anchor weight.
You don't want to use it with these cracks.
Time to replace it with Mercedes one, etc.

Now onto the next NSX…..
