Just when I thought I finished everything for the cabin interior, I noticed that when I turned the IG key into P2 before cranking, I heard the Rad fan and both a/c condenser fans started spinning for about 0.5sec. This was even when the engine was cold after parking overnight and with a/c CCU switched Off.

Typical phenomenon with the soldering crack at the FCU (Fan Control Unit).

So, the rear upper trim has to come off again and with the new clips installed, it was really tight.
Had to use plastic trim remover and I was not careful enough that the tool slipped and hit my face.
Fortunately, I was wearing the glass that it damaged the lens but not my eyes.
I also cut my face but not too bad. School boy error…..

Surprised that the owner didn’t notice this because there were so many soldering cracks.

Unlike the Main Relay, lots of soldering joints to be re-soldered and quick conformal coating applied.
Re-installed and no further issues apart from my face…..

Very unusual but the rubber seal behind one of the headlight bulb cover was missing so installed new one. You don’t want to lose this as the water can get inside the headlight unit.
