Based on the nice green car mat and floor carpet write-up by britlude in his 'build thread', visited the factory 'Autostyle' to discuss the actual colour and material/thickness available for the car mats.

They were very helpful and showed me around many things.
Very busy with several ladies running the industrial sewing machines preparing the mats for Porsche, etc.

Although they already had the NSX car mat template in their system, I wanted to have exactly the same position and shape for the fixing holes as well as the position and design of the 'NSX' motif so I left my OEM car mats to them.

Before visiting, I checked their website and felt that the ‘Red’ was too bright for NSX-R red floor carpet but to be sure, I brought my NSX that already had part of the carpet installed as well as the actual carpets that was not installed yet.

At their office, compared both the bright and dark red materials and hard to tell which one is better suited.
Bright one actually didn’t feel too bright when placed on the NSX-R carpet but then, if it gets dirty, it will look bad.
Dark red actually looked bit out of place when placed on the NSX-R carpet but then it can hide some of the dirt so that’s the advantage over the bright red.

With the effect of the flash, you really won't be able to get the real colour appearance through digital photo especially, if your display has not been calibrated for the colour tone.
Above 3 photos were shot without the flash.

However, with the flash, same photo will turn out in quite different appearance. 1st photo without the flash, 2nd one with the flash.

Same sample materials in my NSX with partial NSX-R carpet installed.

I want the owner to make the final decision.

Took extra time installing these foot rest and TH pedal stopper as one of the bolt was cross-threaded.
Re-tap it and it's now fine but not easy with very limited space available.

Haven't installed the R side seat yet as I must apply thread lock at the seat belt anchor but pretty much done with this side.

Still waiting for the FL brake disc so moving on to the L side carpet while waiting......

Looking really nice and refreshed......

More to follow later.
