Normally, when replacing the front/rear sashes, I would replace the expensive outer molding at the same time.
However, on this NSX, the rubber strip attached to it was still in good shape and not shrunk yet.

You will see big gap here if it shrunk.

Although I already bought the new one, I’ll try re-using it.

This angle is the good way in showing the different spec of the original/later spec front sash.
Yet, they share the same parts no…..

During the test driving session at the beginning of the Health Check, I noticed some wind noise from around high section like ceiling and also from somewhere around passenger glass.

As reported earlier, someone used hard glue behind the old spec door upper weatherstrip and also it was not installed properly that there were extra dirt trapped at the forward section.
Cleaned it as much as possible.

Very important making sure to set the weatherstrip lip behind the recess of the outer retainer.
This is where the old spec left side weatherstrip was not installed properly and already took set at several places.

While replacing the windshield upper modling/fastener, I checked the glass alignment and found that the height is bit too high and also the upper edge towards the rearend is too close to the body/ceiling panel.

So, no surprise with the new spec weatherstrip and front sash, the glass won’t go up to the fully.
I already left about 48Hrs now and while it improved a bit, still not quite.

I need to think about what to do with this because there is not much point in carrying out full window alignment session using these old worn rail guides and old rear sash.

Hope to carry out test driving very soon and adjust the ABS fluid level.

Decided to factory reset my mobile phone for the software update to marshmallow but for some reason, google play service or security related factor was making the application installation so slow…..
For a while, I couldn’t use the phone at all so hope I haven’t missed any calls or SMS, etc….
