Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Another owner sent in his A/C CCU board for the refurbishment.

Initially, he lost the display completely and nothing happened when pressed on any of the CCU switches so he asked someone to repair it.
Unfortunately, when the board came back, it was still the same issue so he contacted me this time.








When I looked at the board, someone used too much heat with the soldering iron so part of the board and soldering pads were already burnt and damaged…..

Also, none of the contaminated area were cleaned that there was no way the person can check the continuity and damages already done to the board.
I knew this is going to be a big challenge already at this point……

Lots of debris and fibre like materials left on the board.








Started the initial cleaning process and found so many damages….
There was no way for the circuit board to work without repairing these.








That was a big challenge….
