It is very unlikely that the SRS could be accidentally deployed while having the red short circuit connector attached but for safety reason, never store the unit with its face down against the floor.
Also, never tape the protective cover/sheet around it.

Ideally, I want to ask the owner to keep it inside the cabin on the way back to his place but during the winter period, the heater is in use inside the cabin so for now, I’ll keep it inside the boot although it will get fairly warm in there.

With later model, some of the metal cabin plates were not installed from the factory.

The battery was kept on the battery conditioner regularly and fully charged.

Warming up the engine in preparation for the ECU reset.
No warning lights after installing the NSX-R steering wheel.

While preparing for the final test driving session, I noticed imbalance of tyre pressure between FR and FL. FR was much lower than FL side.
Tyre pressure was checked (way too low at that time) and adjusted to the OEM setup at the very beginning of the service and since there was no nail or anything causing the slow puncture, the valve core was the main suspect. Sure enough, there was tiny leakage but the valve cap was doing really good job in sealing the sudden loss of pressure.

Looking at the seating of the centre plunger, it was sitting with some angle and the sealing material was hitting the edge that it was slowly leaking from there.

Quick drive to the parts shop and got the replacement valve core.
After replacing it, no more leakage.

Went out for the final test driving session.
With sudden increase in temperature compared to recent freezing cold weather, I think the OEM tyre pressure setup was too high for this tyre under mild weather.

Much more road information from NSX-R steering wheel.
It’s still not quite straight but better than the original test driving session. Again, at some point, please take the alignment service.

After completing all of the test menu (still the same wind like noise somewhere from/behind the dashboard closer to the centre or passenger side), happy with the result and ready to return this NSX to the owner after washing it.

All emission flags are now set and ready for the owner.

Back on the lift, quick final check, re-torqued the wheel nuts and done.
Just need to wash the car.

Thank you for using my service and looking forward to meeting you and your NSX in the future.

Regards,
Kaz
