Even with low annual mileage, you must replace brake fluid regularly.
It’s not a closed system and there is vent system built-in to the reservoir cap through the tiny hole so the moisture can be absorbed into the brake fluid.

Pressure bleeding. Never use the brake pedal method on the used master cyl unless you know what you are doing.

As always, it’s not new pad/disc combination so set the fluid level to here to show it’s partially worn.

OEM fuel filter replaced.

The battery re-installed with better position against the holder bracket.

I always wondered why Honda installed the battery heat shield in mixed way.
Sometimes, you see the black case with higher side facing forward but most of the times, the higher edge is at the back.
Even on the parts diagram and workshop manual, you can find mixed diagram showing both ways…..

EPS motor doesn’t get hot enough and while the car is moving, there is enough air flow so it won’t cook the battery but in traffic jam,
the rad fan hot air will blow directly onto the battery so it makes more sense to put the higher edge facing forward.
However, the battery bracket doesn’t sit well in that configuration….

The coolant metal pipes are nearby but nothing like the hot air from the rad fan in traffic jam.....
Heat will shorten the life of battery so in Japan, many NSX owners with high performance battery will wrap it with heat resistant material.

Started the removal of OEM SRS steering wheel.
When working on the old plastic parts during cold winter, very important to warm up them before trying to do anything. Otherwise, it may crack with age.
As soon as after removing the SRS unit, make sure to attach the Red short plug to prevent accidental deploy of inflator chemical.
Glad it's not from Takata..... I don't think any of the NSX used the Takata SRS even on the early models.

From time to time, the knee upper panel (covered in leather like padding) just doesn’t want to come off especially on the later models.
This one was really tough and spent ages to slowly apply force.

Finally it came off and I can get more room.

As it will be a new steering boss, not sure how straight the steering wheel will align but will see.

The turn signal canceller cam and the controller sitting at the top.
Another device that can fail after many years.

In the process of making metal plate and cables for the Horn circuit, etc.

I need to be a plumber in preparation of the new washing machine…..
Completely different layout so needs to be bit creative….
