When the car was delivered to me, the driver told me that he couldn’t open the fuel lid at the petrol station.

The fuel lid on our NSX has very little clearance around it and while the lid is made from plastic, the rear wing is aluminium so two different materials reacting to the sudden temperature chance as soon as you park the car.

With the recent sudden drop in temperature, not ideal for making any adjustment for the panel alignment as it will cause new issue when it gets warm in the spring/summer so decided to first look at the clearance around the lid.
The white small object trapped in the photo is the thin tissue paper so the lid is catching at the rear end at the bottom.

Ideally, I don’t want to touch touch the two Torx bolts behind here especially on LBBP colour or in fact on any NSX as the bolt head is painted.
So, placed the spring upwards, loosened both bolts carefully using T-wrench just a bit, made tiny adjustment and tightened them with some know-how to keep the alignment while tightening.
Now it opens properly but let’s see what happens in the summer….

Not sure why but the steering column black plastic cover was missing one of the metal band.

The rubber protector at the bottom of B-pillar panel was missing on the right side.
Left side was fine.

The tiny hole at the washer tank cap was blocked so cleaned it and now I can read the fluid level properly.

    Kaz,
Is the rubber for the B-Pillar available separately anywhere? Only shows as an assembly in the parts systems I have access to.

Not from Honda and I don’t know other suppliers.

Like the rubber parts at the outer window black molding that sits at the top edge of the door panel, the rubber is attached to the main parts body and not sold separately.

I think it's some sort of special coated rubber as it survives years under heat and UV ray but the design itself is not that complicated so if you have a reason to remove that B-pillar panel, may be able to create the same shape from something on the market like hand held wiper, etc. Or, if you have access to a used parts, may be you can find similar shape from there.

Thanks Kaz, was hoping there would be an OE supply somewhere. I have a company to investigate now I know for sure they are not available - Baines - they sell a lot of automotive stuff - http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/
