Nothing special and just usual vacuum leak check of the cooling system followed by the vacuum feed of Honda Type 2 coolant.

As we are not going to replace the coolant hoses this time, some old Type 2 coolant was left in the system. Therefore, I recommend the owner to replace the coolant again in 2 years time to be on the safe side. Normally, you can go for 4 – 5 years with fresh Type 2 coolant without diluting it (out of the bottle, it’s pre-mixed at 50%, bit too rich unless you live in freezing cold region) although I prefer max 4 years based on the rust started building up on my WP.

Quick 30sec fire up to push any remaining air pockets out to the heater core bleeder point.
Bleed the air from the system following the service manual.

Another fire up and this time, keep running the engine until the rad fan kicks in.
Cool the engine overnight and double check the bleeder at the radiator and the heater core to eliminate any air left there. Normally, you will find no air at the radiator and just tiny amount at the heater core.
Will adjust the coolant level after the test driving session.

Catching up updating the blog.
New oil filter filled with the fresh eng oil before installation.

Pumped out as much remaining old oil as possible from the oil pan from the top.

Pressure bleeding the brake system to replace the old fluid.

So, just need to take eng compression, adjust the base idle rpm and check IG timing before carrying out the test driving session.

Soon, returning this NSX to the owner.

I want to change the eng oil and filter on my NSX and MX-5 before the winter arrives (still reasonably mild inside the garage.....)

Hi Kaz, would you mind sharing about the set up and tools required if I want to perform a similar pressure breeding the brake system?
