Before/after cleaning the TH body.
Before/after cleaning the TH butterfly.
Base idle rpm air inlet was also covered in black gunk.
TH body back in place and coolant hoses reconnected.
The new header tank briefly installed.
Hope this one will last longer but it’s hit and miss with this OEM one.
Sometimes it can survive for years but there are many new units failing just after 1 year or in US and Japan, I heard that some owners experienced failed new unit within a few months.
Time to vacuum fill the coolant.
