So, started removing lots of parts to prepare for the compression check before start of the service.

I’m also going to replace all cooling system hoses and cleaning the A/C evaporator so doing several things in parallel.

The battery is also going to be replaced with a new one and having the blower motor fan out of the way will make the replacement of the coolant hoses much easier so started working under the bonnet.

After watching the amount of dust trapped inside the A/C cabin temperature sensor, I was expecting huge amount of debris inside the evapo unit.

There were lots and lots of leaves and some of the evapo fins were blocked by the dirty debris but not too bad compared to other NSX.

Needs to wear mask before blowing them away and then start using the chemical to clean and disinfect the evapo.

You can either set the CCU to 32degC or just remove cable and push the lever at the water valve manually to the ‘Open’ position so that you can drain as much coolant as possible from the heater core.

Looking at the white liquid gasket around cam shaft seal, I can tell someone removed the valve covers in the past.

Looks like that person didn’t put the GND cable back to its original location. It sould be on the exhaust side and not at the intake side.

Similar story with the mounting bracket for the Rear Primary O2 sensor.
This connector should be parallel to the channel on the valve cover and not angled like this.

Pretty much everything was removed in preparation for the compression check.

Had to stop here for the day as I had to look after another project.
