And after removing many capacitors including the ones not in the photo, found out that some of the circuit pattern/track were dissolved and one of them was damaged by the previous service.






Checking the continuity and cleaning the circuit board.
Burnt capacitor to be replaced.






Many caps replaced including the ones on the Power I/F board.




Because of the damage, had to use extra jumper wire to re-establish the connection.
The long jumper is the standard procedure for strengthening the ACC line in case the owner decides to install the iPod adaptor such as USA SPEC PA11-HON.




As a standard procedure, used contact cleaner to clean the volume module.
Applied Locktite on assembly to prevent the big two dials at each side getting wobbly.








So after spending long hours, the head unit was reassembled and time for the bench testing.
Tested in CD, Radio and Cassette modes for several hours.


Happy with the result so ready to be returned to the owner.
