Compression check data was already sent to the owner.
Due to the FI application, the figure will be affected and the compression itself looked in very good condition although I don’t know about the bottom block.

Found one of the cap nut was cross threaded (marked red) so have to remove the IG coil and the fuel pressure regulator again to re-thread the stud bolt without dropping any metal debris.

Went out for the test driving session but will summarise it in the next post.

One of the aftermarket rear wheel was missing the hub spacer.
However, I found out that it was of the wrong size any way so doing nothing.

As reported earlier, some of the brake lines were twisted by poor installation.
The one at the FR corner was the worst one.

The front brake disc is the slotted and dimpled style but the slot was already worn out.
Because of this, despite the front brake pad having lots of material left, it worn out in uneven and waved form.
The last photo is showing the brake pad with straight edge on top with strong LED light from behind to show the waved uneven pad surface.

Probably, this was one of the reason why the car just didn't slow down at initial brake application stage during the test driving session.
Also, some of the internal brake caliper parts were showing surface rust.

As the replacement new disc is slotted but without the dimple, I don’t think I want to re-use these pads.
Fortunately, the owner brought the replacement new pads so I’ll install the new ones and return these partially worn ones.
If skimmed properly, should be able to use them as an emergency spare.

By the way, as seen on many NSX, struggled to remove the parking brake cable from the RR caliper L shaped bracket.
Eventually managed to remove it thanks to the Acetone-ATF mixture but caused bit delay in sending out the calipers for coating service.

Brake calipers and brackets were already sent out to Bigg Red and the package is arriving at their place today.
Will touch on Bigg Red service again later as they have now changed the coating process.

More to follow later.
