On arrival, the coolant level was just at the MIN line.

Checked the heater core and radiator bleeding points and no air was observed so looked like nothing to do with the head gasket area although some sort of fluid ran down the Type-R tank cover.

However, at the rear bank, there were trace of fresh coolant above the drain port (can't be the coolant from the above/front section of the engine delivered by the air flow while driving) so as a pre-caution, carried out Eng Block test and no changes in colour which means no exh gas in the cooling system so that is a good news.

Later, pressurised the system and managed to see where the coolant was leaking (lower side of the tank at the bonded section) so going to replace it.
Not sure where the coolant came from at the rear bank as it didn't show up under pressure.
This engine looked to be using metal gasket on C30A so being rebuilt at some stage. Hope the deck was mirror finish and using the correct thickness of the gasket for valve timing.

CL master cyl is leaking so going to replace the CL master/slave/hose as a set.
I saw the Type-R CL pedal and damper-less joint in the owner’s spare parts box so I may consider installing them at the same time.

This NSX has aftermarket coilover kit and the rear damper top is very close to the edge of the Eng rear hatch glass.
While in Japan, my friend managed to shutter the hatch glass while trying to close it even gently because the damper top hit the glass.
Needs to be very careful….
