Noticed that the rubber protector at the right side boot lid hinge was missing.

Normally, it is trapped inside the drain hole in front of the hinge but on this NSX, it was already gone.
Had the new one in stock so just installed it.

The boot lid damper and ball stud bolt.
From the factory, the ball stud was painted in body colour but the replacement part is just plain silver.

Considering the age, not sure whether it can be re-gassed or not but going to return the originals dampers to the owner.

In the process of ABS flushing.

All four solenoids operated fine.
Accumulator flushed four times in total.

Removed as much old fluid as possible before pressuring the accumulator with the fresh fluid.

Time to remove the protection wrap and go out for the test driving session.

Activated the ABS while the tyre was very cold before going onto the main road.
Normally, under the same test condition, I can activate ABS 3 times before the ABS pump kicks in and that was the case several years ago on this NSX.
However, on this occasion, the pump operated after activating the ABS 2 times so there is a chance that a certain solenoid is starting to show the leaky solenoid issue.
With classic ABS, exercising the system is a Must so hope the owner can drive this NSX more frequently to keep the engine and chassis in healthy condition.

Despite the super low total mileage, I was not comfortable going through the roundabout even with the same tyre I use.
Probably the suspension area bush got set or the rubber simply got fatigue and not performing well.

Still, the gear lever, switches, etc feel like just out of the factory.

Got back, adjusted the ABS fluid, cool down the engine and adjusted the final coolant and oil level.

Thank you for using my service and hope you can drive your NSX frequently in the future.

Regards,
Kaz
