Recently, I found out that there was a limit on the number of Blog categories allowed.

It is limited to 20 in total including parent/sub categories.

From Blog structure and display point of view, I can understand this limit.

Originally, when I started this Blog, I planned to assign a specific category for each services so that the owner can quickly go back to their service history without going through the archive.

However, due to the limit on the category number, I won't be able to do this for the future services.

After some consideration, I came to a conclusion to change the format of the category and will be working on this over the next few days/weeks.

It will be more or less based on the categories in the Workshop Manual.

Apology for the owners who already took my service and received the Photo CD and Service Log file with the category ID on it.

All of the Blog related to your service are backed up to the Photo CD so that you can browse through them without on the Internet.

Also, you can check the Blog archive by visiting the specific date close to the service completion date that can be found on the CD as well as on the Service Log.

I hope this change won't affect you too much and thank you for your understandings on this.

Regards,
Kaz

I have increased the number of catagories from 20 to 50. Does this help? There will always be a limit though, so I don't know if you can think of another way to organise things?

    Hi, forumadmin.

It's a great help because although I re-structured the categrories, already hit the previous limit of 20.
I'm in the process of going through each posts to re-assign the new category at the moment as well as updating some of the entries in my 'Technical and Service Information Index' page under the Technical section.

I agree, there should be a certain limit.

Once again, thank you for looking after us.
