The grease held inside the slider port at the bracket was thoroughly removed and cleaned before packing with the new Niglube RM. One of the best grease available for the brake overhaul purpose.

As always, cleaned the calliper body to this level so that I can touch it with my hand without any concerns of contamination or debris getting inside the cyl.

Not easy to see in this photo but wanted to show the surface rust that prevented me from moving the piston at all with my finger.

Even with this tiny amount is enough to cause issue on the piston movement.
Managed to smooth it out and going to re-use the pistons.

Probably too late on some of the NSX out there because for some reason, in UK, brake calliper overhaul is one of the most neglected service item…..

If your calliper is healthy, you can push in the piston smoothly with just your hand and no need to use any tools.
Checking the seating of the seal/boot/piston before installation.

As always, applied special treatment to prevent the rust from getting beyond the boot seating area.

Front side installed with new bleeder plug.

Extra time required for the rear calliper due to the parking brake mechanism.
Again, checking the parts and smooth operation before installing back on the car.

Just need to install the rear side and time for the pressure bleeding.
Important as we are not going to replace the master cyl and you don’t want damaging the perfectly fine healthy seal by operating the brake pedal while bleeding.

Hope to finish the service very soon.
