Once again, it’s time of the year to apply polymer coating, clean the Eng room, etc.
I normally clean the car regularly so not a huge task but still, takes some time.

My NSX is now 21 years old with 150K miles so the original paint condition is not that great especially it spent the hot summer in Japan for several years without roofed garage.

If I had the time, I wanted to go through the quartz based glass coating but that will be for the future….

After claying and applying polish, started the polymer coating.
Over the last few years, I’m using the Blackfire wet diamond protection so used it again this time.
For this sealant, I prefer leaving it overnight before wiping it off.

While waiting, cleaned the Eng room and other areas.

Time to wipe off the excess coating.
Having access to the lift always makes your life easier especially when dealing with the tyres and the lower section of the car.
Also, keeping the tired looking wheel arch liner true black enhances the appearance of the car.
Again, much easier to apply chemical while the car is in the air.

Not too bad for a 21years old high mileages classic car.

Now back to working on the Bose AMP.....
