Every time after each adjustments, showering test and cool air blower test were carried out.
Hand held sprayer and spot drier with helping hand are your friend.
No leakage was found but for some reason I got wind noise from around the rear sash area and yet no water getting inside the cabin.

From the past experience, I knew how and where the wind noise was created without letting the
water getting inside the cabin so the window glass had to come out again yesterday.

The biggest factor in window alignment is the position of the front/rear stoppers.

Without having access to the new parts, I had to find the best balance between being as the perfectionist and the time limit.

The window will operate properly and fast enough even with the damaged/deformed rear sash if aligned properly.
This is the left side window that the owner couldn’t lower it even for a few mm when the door was closed.

By the way, as mentioned in the past, whenever you are going to park your NSX for a prolonged period, just flicking the power window switch for about 0.5sec in down direction will extend the life of your door window parts.

Many owners think that the slow window issue are caused by the increased friction at the window regulator by worn parts and lack of grease but if that is the case, the driver side window would show the first sign of the issue at much earlier stage than the passenger side since majority of the time, the driver side window is operated more frequently than the other side.

However, in real world, it’s the passenger side that would normally show the slow window issue first on the regularly driven NSX.
You may not notice this difference if your NSX is not used regularly.

The key factor is how often the door was opened/closed and also how long the window glass was kept at the max height position.

It will significantly reduce the damage/wear on the front/rear guide rails as well as the regulator rail itself. Also, it will prevent the sliders from getting loose.

This is why it’s best if you can reduce the tension on the glass while parking for a long period by just flicking the power window switch for a fraction of a second.

There is no need to open the window and just flicking the switch is good enough but if it’s safe to do so, just lowering the window for a few cm is even better.

While keeping the door opened and lowering the window half way, grab on the top section of the window with both hands.
Then, move the window back and forth, inward and outward.
You will notice significant movement and that’s the key for understanding the reason for the above.

The owner has collected his NSX and I can now focus on the 5 x Bose AMP + 1 x A/C CCU and expecting 1 x Audio Head Unit next week.
I must carry out MOT and car insurance for both the NSX and the MX-5.......

For now, I’m going to switch myself off for a day as I kept working over the last 18days including the weekend and my hands need some resting.....

Thank you for using my service and hope you enjoyed the new upgraded ABS, OEM washer and not perfect but much improved window operation.
As soon as I get the delivery from Japan for the rest of the new parts, will put you at higher priority in order to prevent other new parts taking set due to the use of old damaged parts.

Regards,
Kaz
