ABS Upgrade, Door Window Refresh, etc 16

Delicate alignment procedure. This is the right side door and it's way too close yet the adjusters were all maxed out. I know the reason as many parts were damaged by the people who worked in the past but won't be able to get the new parts in time so for now, I used custom method and aligned it as much as possible.
Will remove these custom bits once I get the new parts and align it again......

By the way, as mentioned in the previous blog, the procedure/spec on the workshop manual is based on the old design/spec parts.
If you follow the spec, you may end up with water leakage or wind noise.

You will need to study the shape of each parts and how they are mounted and then make your own method/spec on adjusting the glass alignment.

10L of burst water flow were used for the showering test.
I’ll check for the wind noise later during the test driving session as I must reset the ECU as I disconnected the battery for the ABS upgrade.
Ideally, I would like to drive the car in moderate rain condition.

New molding is delivered with protective film. Once removed, looks so nice. Makes the car looking refreshed. I wish I were able to replace the rear sash at the same time as the rubber and black metal section looked so tired compared to the fresh looking new molding.

Forgot to take photo showing the butyl tape with new protective sheet behind the door card but
at the same time, didn't want to touch the camera when dealing with that sticky bits.
Will try something later.

By the way, someone forgot to connect the connector for the courtesy/door light on both doors so it was not working but now they are fixed.

Keep having fun with the final adjustment.......
