New slider assy.

You need to imagine the 3D image of the window glass angle and decide where and how many adjuster washers to be used behind these sliders.

Also, over the long period, these could get loose. This is one of the main factor for the slow window speed as it will change the glass alignment massively yet you can't fix it without accessing this area.
Although there is some thread lock already applied on the new parts from Honda, you should consider extra step to prevent it from getting loose.

On the left side window, I couldn't slide the window glass freely even after taking the regulator out.
I already knew the regulator rail was also bad from previous service that the glass holder was stuck half way through.

Normally, I prefer using small amount of the silicone grease on the weatherstrip to keep it healthy but during the window glass alignment process, I will be touching the glass many times and the window will be operated frequently that it will leave many eye-sore traces.

For this reason, decided to treat the rubber parts with 303 protectant spray.
For me, it doesn’t seem to last long as the silicone grease but it won’t leave any sticky markings.

Looks like the windshield was replaced in the past but the upper molding/fastener were simply re-used and being cut.
I wish I had the spare parts…… Could have replaced them while in there.
May be next time.

The new outer molding. Very expensive for what you can get but it’s one of the key parts for minimising the moisture and dust, sand etc getting inside the door panel so something you should replace after many years.

Remember to clean the panel before installing the new molding.
