I’m not going to bother repairing this protective sheet again….

Will clean the old OEM white sticky sealant and replace the sheet.

However, later, I found that addition to the black butyl sealant, someone used double sided tape under there.

It was a nightmare removing them as it just doesn’t want to come off.
Even just cleaning the OEM white bits takes long time but that double sided tape caused massive delay on the process…..

Unlike the left side door, the right side had its front sash already replaced to the later spec one.

Also, the regulator assy was already replaced to the later spec as it had the boxed shaped regulator wire joint. (Left/1st photo)
This is where you use the 'window-fix-it-thingy' if you have the old spec regulator. (reference only and not related to the service this time, Right/2nd photo)

This alignment locking nut was not even tightened…..
Also, some of the adjusters were already moved…..

After removing the sash and the guide rails, I found that almost all of the glass alignment adjusters were maxed out so although I marked the original positions and wanted to use the adjuster distance as the reference for the new replacement parts, they can’t be used and I'm afraid I have to carry out the alignment from scratch..... It's going to take whole day for just doing one side...... I have great respect to the person assembled and adjusted the window alignment at the Honda factory because he must have super sensitive finger and good image of visualising the window alignment in 3D within his brain......

As seen on many NSX, the rubber section of the rear sash was already cut.
This was caused by the window getting too high over the years.
I should have bought new parts if it was that bad…..
