Repairing the missing pad, track and joints.


Had to spend extra time cleaning around the ZD3 and chekcing it. Fortunately, the array was still working fine so no need to replace it.




Quick bench check and happy with the result so ready for the conformal coating.

Done.




I normally replace both light bulbs if one of them was dead but unfortunately, I only had one spare (must stock it up again) so only replaced the dead right side one (when looked from the right side seat with CCU installed at the centre console).




New gaskets at the IG coil cover and applied silicone grease.
Very important to keep the moisture away from the IG coil head.
Can’t do anything for the condensation through so always just drive the car for a short distance after washing the car.

I don’t think I’m going to re-use these rusty nuts. In fact, one of them was the wrong spec causing further rust on the cam holder side as well.
