The compression check after the Eng Refresh.
I already knew it’s going to be good because the engine sound was so smooth and with the effect of new LMA, so quiet and synchronised tappet sound.
Will try to post the video later.

Here is the video after the Eng Refresh. Can't post two video files in the same post so will place the video from before the start of the service in the comment section.

By the way, while I was trying to lift the ICE head unit before taking the centre console out, I found this.
So many wires were just threw in at the back of the unit with no cable protection..... I hope when I place everything back in place, it won't cause any short circuits......
No label showing which one is for the R and L channels yet using the red connector for both channels….
There is also a cable screwed in to the back of the head unit without using the removal connector.....

At this point, I came to a conclusion that it’s too risky for me to remove it from the centre console so going to lift it all together with the already damaged console…. Not fun at all....

I wanted to clean the A/C cabin temperature sensor aspirator fan as it was making annoying noise but I’m afraid, I won’t be able to do so as I don’t want to damage the console (it was already cracked when this NSX arrived here).

The CCU board was showing somewhat interesting damages by the leaked acid from the capacitor.

The normal severe leakage at the C44 and it already penetrated to the back of the board as well (no surprise...).

The leakage from C32 was interesting.
It already dissolved one of the lead at the capacitor but the acid managed to travel at wider area and reached the resistor R10 & 11. It also travelled long way to the zenor ZD3 area and caused fairly deep damages.

Hope I can refurbish the board quickly as I don’t fancy driving without the A/C around this time of the year.

Here is the video from before the start of Eng Refresh.
Not easy to distinguish but you can hear the random tappetty noise caused by the fatigue at the LMA.
