The TB tension was really loose. Probably one of the worst that I have ever seen. With just the weight of one finger without applying force, I could move it for more than 30mm….

The famous melting potting from the CRK/CYL sensor.

Not too bad at all so although I normally stock the spare sensor, I think I’m going to re-use this and just remove the melted potting from the TB back plate.

Someone really struggled to install the TB rear cover.
So many scratch markings.

The compression data looked really good so not worried about the existing valve clearance so going to do only a quick check before backing off all of the adjusters.
Then, remove the cam shafts and take out all of the rocker arms/shafts before replacing the tired LMA.

The owner visited my place and wanted to clean the Eng bay by himself but with moisture in the air and too much wind, I didn’t want to open the garage door too long so asked him to come back when the weather is dry.

He also brought the new brake disc with him and already it was showing the condensation on the disc surface.
He told me they were completely dry on leaving his place today so another good example of what is happening inside the engine if you don’t drive regularly.

More to follow later.
