Vacuum leak check of the cooling system.

While waiting for the leak check, started bleeding the CL Hyd sys.
This NSX is LEV model so lots of extra tubes/pipes in the way around the CL slave cyl.
Also, as the owner wanted to use SoS braided CL hose, no idea about the fitting being used or whether it was pressure tested or not so after bleeding the air, operated the CL pedal like 100 times and checked the CL hose area and fitting to confirm no leakage. Adjusted the fluid level.

After leaving the system for about 1Hr, not a tiny movement of the needle so happy with the result.
I was worried about the state of the radiator on this NSX as reported in the earlier blog post Eng Refresh, Health Check, etc 04 on 14/Jan.

Vacuum feed the system with Honda Type 2 blue coolant.
First quick bleeding of the system following the specific sequence.

No way I could re-use the right side two bolts holding the anti-roll bar bush so replaced with the new one.
Will torque them together with the damper bolt under 1G later.

Primed the fuel system like 10 times to check the seal.
Disabled the INJ and IG for multiple short burst of cranking followed by longer ones in preparation for the first fire up.
Oil pressure warning disappeared and happy with the result so quick 30sec fire up.
Another cooling system air bleeding.

Then, the proper fire up.
As always, took 25-30min around this time of the year before the rad fan operated.

While running the engine, checked for any exhaust leakage, top/bottom/front/rear of the car, etc and went through all the gears to check the rear wheel speed sensors.

No warning lights and happy with the result so time to let it cool down overnight for another coolant system bleeding.

Will check the base idle rpm, compression check, test driving, etc tomorrow though I may need to wait until Friday due to heavy rain forecasted.

Nearly there.
