Thought not much to report while removing the parts and cleaning inside the engine but several inof for the owner.

As reported earlier, the coolant was leaking from the WP. The bolt torque was lower at the leaked area. Because it was left for a long time, the corrosion managed to chew into the mating surface. I can't go too far in re-surfacing it but hope the ceramic scraper will smooth it out.

As always, remove the old red sealant.
Same goes for the upper two bolts at the oil cooler.

Not easy to see in this photo but the IAT sensor was covered in black gunk and compared to other engines, it was quite difficult to remove it from the sensor tip. Managed to clean it to this level. Re-installed it with a new o-ring.

Very good idea to service the VTEC Spool valve. Moisture already managed to seep into the gasket area and heavy corrosion observed at the rear bank.
It was the same at the eng block side.

Despite the clean internal engine parts, TH body was really dirty. In order to show the true colour, wiped off just one area. It should be shiny silver and not black.
