Forgot to post the photo of cam shaft.
As reported earlier, no abnormal scratch and just the coating wear.


Considering the mileage, quite normal and being driven regularly with long distance journey helped a lot in keeping good condition inside the engine.




The rear bank exh cam pulley.

Around this year model, the parts manufacture or Honda made mistake on the timing marking at the back side. Not the first time to see this.

Not a big issue as normally, we will be using the marking on the front face during the eng assembly but for those doing DIY TB service or at the Honda/Acura dealership, it will be a problem as people normally won't take the engine out and it's very hard to check the front face marking in that limited space.

The front face timing marker is at the right side with the dowel pin at the top (1st photo).
If you turn it over, the marker should be on the left side at the back face.
However, as you can see (2nd photo), it's on the right side and after assembly, it's hidden under the TB cover plate so pretty much useless.
I will just mark it at the correct position using the white pen before assembly.




New o-ring under the #1 cam holder at both banks.




As always, dealing with the liquid gasket so no time taking photo and just the end result.

All four camshafts, cam holders, holder plates back in place.

Even using the same procedures and tools, these are the areas that start making differences on the end result. Carefully torqued the bolts using proper torque wrench.





Punched in the brown cam seal and took four photos to confirm that they went into the correct position.
Several years ago, I made mistake here and caused oil seepage as I didn't check enough due to injury.
