Removed the heavily melted epoxy potting from the CYL/CRK sensor on the TB cover plate.

Took long time getting to this level as you don't want to apply any force on this plate as it's so close to the edge of the TB.

Back side was full of seeped oil and all sorts of debris accumulated over many years/distance.
Cleaned and ready for the installation of new rubber seals.

Such a huge difference between the used and new CYL/CRK sensor.
New one installed and carefully torqued as you don't want it getting loose.

Started the preparation of camshaft installation.
Applied assembly lube on the mating surface of the valve and LMA followed by the rocker arm recess.

After cleaning the cam holders, I normally leave them for a few hours to stabilise the temperature due to the effect of using the brake cleaner.

However, today, I didn't turn the oil heater early enough inside the garage that I didn't like the freezing cold cyl head and cam holder temperature so decided not to install them today.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, which is today by the time I post this) will be warmer and I will keep the garage temperature steady from the morning so should be able to install them in the afternoon.

Not sure it's the effect of the smelly blue lube but my throat is very dry and irritating.....

Finally, getting there.
