Bit of drama updating the firmware of my trusted wireless router from ASUS resulting in loosing part of the 5GHz wireless channels and very slow access but erasing the nvram worked well and now back in business.

Several parts arrived from Japan and Honda UK.




For some reason, it's cheaper to order JDM spec wiper blades through HUK than from Japan or US.

The wiper arm spec is different between UK NSX and JDM one so the blade length is also different but based on several applications, I found no problem using JDM spec on UK models.
It comes with the proper spoiler on the driver side blade as well.

Initially, I was told it will take many weeks but as usual, it arrived much earlier.





The bonnet latch.
Already several NSX experienced spring damage and making the bonnet difficult to open/close. For me, it's cheaper to replace it with new one than trying to repair/replace just the spring especially if I have to clean the whole unit.
If you have a sensor on the latch like on my JDM NSX, you better check how the bracket is held (welded or separated) to the latch body. If they are separated and just held by the same bolt, then you can just replace this unit and re-use the sensor bracket. If it is welded, the parts no. is different and you may need to do some modification if you want to save the parts cost by replacing just the latch.






The IG coil loom holder.
I never replaced one in the past and it seems to be very rare to replace it even in the world that the new parts came in the original classic Honda Parts marked bag.
You won't see this on the latest parts.






Very rare mistake by Honda Parts Japan.
The gasket behind the tail light turn signal is sided so I ordered using two different parts no..
However, I received two gasket for the same side and missing the other one.
Fortunately, another owner asked me to place an order for 2 set of tail light gaskets recently so I told Japan that I will pay for this wrong extra one and place another order including the missing one so that they can send them out urgently.
Should be leaving Japan tomorrow or on Wednesday.





Phoned Vtecdirect regarding the cam covers coating service as posted in their vendor's page but both Andy and Sales personnel were not available and being told to call them back tomorrow. Will try again then.
Hope I can get something very soon.
