Once again, big thank you to Goodridge for their continued support for the NSXCB members based in UK.
Custom made brake lines in NSXCB spec assembled and tested by Goodridge Exeter office.

There are off-the-shelf kits available from Goodridge but it doesn't have 2 x line locator/holder at the front
and it's too short for the later spec rear caliper/bracket so you need to be very careful if selecting these ones.

Also, some of the kits on ebay, etc are assembled by the vendors and not by Goodridge even they are boxed in Goodridge branded box. They are just using the parts (including the box) from Goodridge so not sure how they are testing each lines.

As always, mark the chassis side and align the brake line in order to prevent twisting the line when tightening the fitting.

By the way, I had to re-thread the FL caliper banjo fitting as it felt heavy and the entrance threads were already damaged.

The parts for the rear caliper/bracket OH. Requires extra parts and time for the parking brake mechanism.

As reported earlier, the rust managed to penetrate beyond the dust boot groove on the caliper.
Especially at the RR caliper, the rust was severe and making the installation of dust boot difficult. The owner is already aware of the needs to have them chemically treated at the next brake OH.

RL was not too bad but because the piston was sitting on the pad pin for many years, looks like it scratched the caliper bore slightly. Not a big issue as it will be installed properly this time and at next brake OH, it will be smoothed out if using the service from Bigg Red.

    Hi Kaz,

Would this Goodridge UK kit be suitable for my Type S? I will be over in the UK in January and have an address that this can be sent to, if it is the best option for my car (for the future).

Hi, NZNick. Yes, as long as you have OEM suspension/rideheight/wheel setup. Any aftermarket parts around this area, you must check that the brake line doesn't touch with anything other than the line holder.
You may want to check the service history because Japanese MOT is so strict that it could be already replaced with new OEM one recently.

    Thanks Kaz.

There are no after-market parts in this area - everything is OEM., and the brakes were overhauled a couple of years ago according to my understanding of the paperwork I have for the car. I think I'll buy the kit while I am in the UK for future use. Many thanks for your expertise and assistance.
