TB removed.
The area behind the TB drive pulley was very clean.
This photo was taken before cleaning anything.
The crank oil seal was also very clean so no need to replace.
WP removed.
Looks very clean in the photo but ….
It was already making small noise from the bearing.
Quite different sound and feeling compared to the new one.
Another reason to replace WP at the time of TB service.
For me, this is a MUST item to be replaced during TB service.
Cleaning the red thread sealant at the WP fixing bolts.
9 holes to be cleaned.
Time consuming but has to be done.
As the header tank was already turned into yellow custard colour and considering the age, we decided to replace it with the thermostat as well since the coolant was drained.
