The owner bought new horn button and have it sent to me directly from the vendor.
It's the one custom made by R-Developments (thank you, Bas) and sold through R Motion (thank you, drmikey).

Checked the contact points using the multimeter and as you expect from the proper racing products (Sparco), the resistance was always 0 when the button was activated unlike the cheap one that came originally with the aftermarket steering wheel.

Also, the custom made horn section with the ring is at very nice quality and the price is also very good.
You have the option to select the colour of the ' H ' logo as well.

So, tried to install it but found out that it didn't drop into the opening of the Momo wheel.

There are four tiny tabs (blue single arrow) around the outer edge of the horn button and they were sitting against the edge of the opening of the wheel.

So, asked advice from drmikey. Bas also replied back. Thank you for the advise and feedback.

You just need to trim off a tiny bit of the tab (about 1mm) to fit it inside the opening.
It doesn't need to be accurate as there is almost no free play once the black metal ring is placed on top that it will be held tightly in place.

Based on the info from Bas, he didn't have to trim anything from the horn button on installation to his Type-S Momo steering wheel whereas another owner had to trim off a bit on installation to his Momo wheel.
Seems like opening ID is slightly different on the Momo steering wheels so you may or may not need to trim it off.
Any way, it's very soft plastic so easy.

After removing the horn relay and re-wired, the new one installed and tested.
So much better than the cheap plastic one and easy to press on the button under emergency case.

It's best for the owner to sit down and evaluate the atomospher of the cabin with the new steering wheel before deciding on the colour of the ' H ' logo.
During the Skype meeting, the owner felt that since the model logo 'Competition' is in silver, the horn looked nice in silver alone without any coloured H sticker.
Also, black H logo would suit as rest of the wheel is blackl.

For now, I'll just reassemble everything, check idle rpm, test driving and then temporarily return the car to the owner and come back to the drive shaft later.

Another Koyo radiator just arrived so time for the emergency radiator swap for another owner.
