It was very shocking and sad time for what happened during Japanese GP last weekend especially for knowing the people at FIA, teams, working at the Suzuka circuit, etc and prior to that, I heard other news regarding my friend so I didn't feel like updating the blog until now.

The owner of this NSX was very generous and allowed me to focus on other things so hope I can make better progress from today.

Some of the progress made over this week....

Managed to refurbish two out of the three Bose AMP successfully.

However, the 3rd one with cracked FET Q3 due to extreme heat spot, it was not possible to recover it even after replacing the FET because the circuit check didn't show the correct figure.

The damage took out the Bose in-house IC U2 that is not available as an aftermarket parts and hence, decided to replace it with my spare AMP.

Thermal compound and hot melting glue applied.

After bench testing each AMPs for more than 2Hrs, happy with the gain control and signal conditions so ready to be installed.

For some reason, the speaker grill at the bass speaker was upside down and pressing against the speaker cone so installed it properly.

While working inside the cabin, removed and re-installed the eng hatch opener lever in correct orientation. It was installed in the wrong direction originally.

At the driver side door handle, the wrong spec screw was being used. I don't have this large screw as a spare so I must re-use it.
