Before/after shots of the intake manifold and the TH body.
Due to the reflection of the black gunk, it won't show the true colour but before cleaning, both the TH body and intake manifold were simply covered in sticky black residue.


Finally, the silver metal surface showed up.

Interesting enough, the idle adjust screw was never touched and the lock paint was still there so removed it in preparation for the idle rpm check later.





Engine bay is done and just need to replace the most time consuming two hoses at the oil cooler.


Hope to fireup very soon so that I can drive the car in order to put some heat and vibration into the drive shaft spline to loosen it from the hub.
